Appearance of the two newest additions to the character list in the anime: "Melo" and "Near", also known as M and N, as you find out later! This episode is where we see where Light has left off since he's grown up, and since then Light has kept his alibi perfect, but even still, trouble has started already! Light's little sister has grown up to be a women, and now Melo has taken her hostage in exchange for the Death Note, this causes some head Drama and more action later in the next episode.
