Death Note Ep. 25 Discussion

I loved it, but it surprised me at first; I wasn't expecting any fillers, since the manga had been over for awhile before the anime was in production. It was well done though, and it was refreshing to see some new and unexpected back story added in.

I really liked the biblical theme to the episode. The manga never made a huge point of turning L into a Jesus-like figure. "The Fall" looked great, and the silence left a really nice feel to everything. Although I was waiting on L to break the silence and murmur or think "I was right...." It's kinda cool that the time jump will mark the exact middle of the series too.

WHat an episode! I thought it was just an ordinary ep about Light and how he
can carry out his plan.

Yup, an episode!

This part during Death Note is very major and I like how Light can keep up an act while his plan has just washed away his 3 most dangerous problems.

Of course I liked it even more so, than I did in the manga, I loved how the animation made Light seem even more evil, with his red eyes.

That's true...Light's eyes in the anime make the difference...anyways, I wasn't expecting any fillers in the anime knowing that the manga was finished a long time ago...but still a great episode.

Did you see how fast Rem write in the Death Note? Something to be expected from a Shinigami i suppose..

My poor L died!

I can't believe I still cry when that happens...even after reading the manga...well, he was my fav character. Light's eyes when looking down on him look so freaking cool.

Its one of the times I actually like my favorite character dieing, because it was so poetic and artistically done.
