This is all hypethetical. But how would you kill "L".

Hmmm this is a problem for anyone who has read the manga, so I'm just saying now to anyone who has make sure you dont spoil anything.

Is this assuming that you are Light, or just any old person?

if its the former, I would have probably got Misa to observe a meeting with L and Light, because even if L knew, he would be dead before ever getting to tell anyone. I.e. one of those meetings Light had in the college with 'L', or at least who he thought was L.

well i read the manga upto Ch 110 or so , after they killed L i stopped watching Death Note. Thats how bad it gets.....

At first glance MisaMisa's the key to getting to him, but the problem is that he already knows that she's the second Kira, the same way he knows that I(Light) am also Kira; his only obstacle is proving it. So, with him keeping an eye on me and Misa, there'd be a good chance that anything I or Misa do wil be noted, and if L were to die following any suspicious activity I'd give myself away. (Screw Misa) On top of it all, with Misa cleared of any official charges, she needs and excuse just to get into contact with L.

So ideally, the best way would be to have Misa conduct research from the outside, while I fed her information and leads, until she could get his name out some other way. L would drop dead one day, I'll have done nothing strange, and Misa'll be unaccounted for. The only big obstacle for that plan of course is how little personal control I'd have to assure it's success. That and the fact that Wammy's House probably took extensive care in wiping out all L's personal data... Oops, just forget I said that last part, you'll learn about Wammy's House soon enough.

Anyway the best way to kill L is to use someone with the eyes. Just have to lure L out into the open.

If I were to kill L...I would do nothing, after all I doubt he had 2 more months before the diabetes killed him (he MUST have diabetes).

I got one thing to say to everyone that hasn't read the manga.
L is the greatest, no matter what happens
Damn it!!!!! If everyone fought fair then it would be all happy but noooooooo.....
But yeah it would be impossible to kill L not because of the circumstances but because of his instincts, or if I could kill him he would die knowing who did itwhich is an incomplete murder (under my standards if i were Kira)
