Ryuk's definitely more amusing as a character, but if I had to be haunted by one of them, I'd probably choose Rem. Mostly just because she seems like she'd be easier to get along with.

I thought of Ryuk as the mean and scary type when i first started watching, that quickly changed when he started devouring those apples lol ^_^

I find him cooler than rem in so many ways. The way he presents himself, the way he's mostly laid back about everything - it's just interesting to see a shinigami like that.

Yeah, I also thought that Ryuk would be more like an evil kind of Shinigami in the beginning, but I guess he was just bored, like how Light was.

I picked Ryuk, he's just awesome, he is just so amusing to the series especially when he wants an apple. He made me laugh when Light said he couldn't have any apples at all. That was funny
