It's not too tough depending on what program you use and the variety of clips you have. having 3 episodes of an anime and making an amv with say windows movie maker usually results in....Crappy AMV's

Windows Movie Maker is the bane of my soul. -_- I have tried to use that program tens of times and it craps out on me every single time!! I try to save in its native format it crashes. I try to move clips it crashes. I try to do anything it CRASHES!!

So, I've been trying to get Cinelerra working on my Linux partition, but that decides to not install at all.

So, the DN Angel AMV I'm trying to make is currently suspended. I don't know when I'll get to make it. But AMV's are fun to watch!!

Like I said Windows Movie Maker = Crappy amv's otherwise it = no amv as it keeps crashing.

Yeah I do. I also just make music videos, of say, me and my mates at a party.

But my Youtube Profile got deleted after it drew too much attention (Over 10,000 viewings for each AMV) and they noticed it was "illegal", so they closed it down

I'm thinking of making another Profile though... But I'm curious to know if like Google video might be better.

Hmm... I think it depends on the editor, and also what you consider good. Because I used WMM2 as I don't want to spend money on Adobe/Vegas (And aren't into illegally using them either) and my Music Videos are usually very good, it just lacks special effects, but I can still make use of some. Every one of my AMVs in the past were given over 8/10 in different review sections.

But yes, that bloody thing keeps fricking freezing!! :cry Thats the only thing that brings the quality of my AMVs down; the freezing stresses me out so much that I lose the flair for the editing. Dagnabbit!

Read the rest of my posts. I also said that if you DON'T have that many CLIPS or EPISODES of something that it's USUALLY going to be crappy. I use WMM2 sometimes too but I have every episode of the whatever anime I'm using to make the amv. Know what I mean?

Um, Ok. That was slightly grumpy

I was just responding solely to the comment; "Wmm2 = crap amvs" and then referencing to it freezing. You didn't mention number clips in that certain moment, you just made the insinuation that no matter what, Windows Movie Maker 2 will result in crappy AMVs, so I just joined in on the discussion to give my opinion. No conflict, no frustration. Just discussion.

Sorry if I somehow managed to misunderstand your post.

@Catterix. I say you and my other friend must be maigcal. For being able to even turn out an AMV. My WMM just doesn't freeze, it crashes and burns and can't even save properly. So I can't use it, even if I wanted to. Which I don't.

yeah WMM sucks big time so i dont use it anymore. i find the best one to use is Addobe Premiere. its really stable and has got about a billion more features for your desposal.
Havent made that many since the (Good old) DBZ days but keep coming back to a rough bleach vid im working on. just nned all the RAWS so i can make a clean version.

^Yay for clean!! I find it irritating when people used the subbed ones. It really kills the quality of the AMV.
